Description

Prepare delicious Air Fryer Chicken Tenderloins that are juicy and flavorful. With a unique blend of spices and a simple marinade, this dish makes for a quick and healthy dinner option everyone will love.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 lbs chicken tenderloins fresh or frozen
  • avocado oil spray for the basket
  • ⅓ cup olive oil or preferred cooking oil
  • 3 tablespoon coconut aminos
  • 2 cloves minced garlic (garlic powder works in a pinch)
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce (Franks red hot recommended)
  • 1 tablespoon dijon mustard
  • ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper (optional)
  • 2 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon paprika

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F and spray the basket lightly with avocado oil spray.
  2. Pat the chicken tenderloins dry and place them in a bowl. Add spices, cornstarch, and olive oil, tossing to ensure they are well coated.
  3. In a separate large bowl, combine olive oil, coconut aminos, minced garlic, onion powder, salt, hot sauce, Dijon mustard, and crushed red pepper. Whisk these ingredients to create a marinade.
  4. Add the chicken tenderloins to the marinade and let them rest for at least 15 minutes or overnight for enhanced flavor.
  5. Arrange the marinated chicken in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring not to overcrowd. Cook in batches if necessary.
  6. Air fry the chicken for 10 to 13 minutes, flipping midway, until they are golden brown and reach an internal temperature of 165°F.
  7. Confirm doneness by checking for a browned edge and an internal temp of 165°F using an instant-read thermometer. Adjust cooking time as needed.
  8. Remove the chicken and allow it to rest for a few minutes before serving. Optionally, top with chopped parsley.

Notes

Marinating the chicken overnight intensifies the flavor.
Cooking time may vary based on the thickness of the tenderloins, so adjust accordingly.
For extra crispiness, consider spraying the tenderloins lightly with oil before air frying.
