Description

This alfredo sauce features a rich and creamy blend of butter and cheeses, creating an irresistible addition to your pasta dishes. Simple to prepare, it highlights garlic and Italian seasoning, making it a delightful comfort food ideal for busy weeknights or special dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup butter salted
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 cup Romano cheese freshly grated
  • 3/4 cup Parmesan cheese freshly grated
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a large frying pan or saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and sauté until softened, taking care not to let it brown.
  3. Pour in the heavy whipping cream and add the Italian seasoning.
  4. Stir in the Romano and Parmesan cheeses until melted and the sauce thickens.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Serve over your favorite pasta, garnished with extra Parmesan cheese.

Notes

For a thicker sauce, simmer longer to reduce it further.
Feel free to add cooked chicken or vegetables for extra flavor and nutrition.
