Ingredients
- Fettuccine Pasta (12 oz)
- Extra Virgin Olive Oil (3 tbsp)
- Asparagus (12 oz)
- Prosciutto (3 oz)
- Garlic (4 cloves)
- Sun-Dried Tomatoes (1/2 cup)
- Red Chilli Pepper Flakes (1/2 tsp)
- Parmesan Cheese (1/2 cup)
- Fresh Basil Leaves (3 tbsp)
- Sea Salt & Black Pepper to taste
- Pasta Water (1 cup)
Instructions
- Boil salted water and cook fettuccine until al dente; reserve pasta water.
- Sauté asparagus in olive oil until fork-tender, then set aside.
- In the same pan, cook prosciutto until crispy, add garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Mix in sun-dried tomatoes and red chili flakes, then combine with fettuccine and asparagus.
- Toss with reserved pasta water and melted Parmesan, then top with fresh basil before serving.
Notes
Adjust the amount of chili pepper flakes depending on your spice preference.
