Description

Bacon Goat Cheese Balls combine creamy goat and cream cheese with crispy bacon and crunchy nuts for a mouthwatering appetizer. Perfect for gatherings or a snack!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 ounces goat cheese, softened
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 8 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
  • ½ cup pecans or walnuts, toasted, finely chopped
  • ½ cup fresh parsley, minced
  • pretzel sticks, for serving
  • crackers, for serving

Instructions

  • Line a baking sheet with wax paper or parchment and set aside.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine goat cheese and cream cheese. Add one quarter of the crumbled bacon, 2 tablespoons of nuts, and 2 tablespoons of parsley. Mix on low with a hand mixer until well combined.
  • In a shallow bowl, stir together the remaining bacon, nuts, and parsley. Set aside.
  • Using a cookie scoop, form the cheese mixture into 1-inch balls. Roll each ball in the bacon mixture to coat evenly. Place the balls on the prepared baking sheet and chill until ready to serve.
  • Just before serving, insert a pretzel stick into each ball, and serve on top of your favorite crackers.

Notes

You can prepare these ahead of time and chill until serving.
Feel free to substitute walnuts with pecans if desired.
Add spices to the cheese mixture for an extra kick.
