- ½ cup butter, melted
- ¾ cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup all purpose flour

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F.
- Spread the cherry pie filling evenly in the bottom of an 8×8 baking dish.
- In a mixing bowl, combine melted butter, sugar, vanilla, flour, and baking powder. Mix until just combined, avoiding over-mixing.
- Spoon the batter over the cherries, spreading gently to cover.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 35–40 minutes until the top turns golden and is set.
