- 1 box chocolate cake mix, 15 oz., devils food used
- 4 large eggs
- 4 large bananas, brown, ripe, mashed
- 3 cups chocolate chips, semi sweet
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, eggs, and mashed bananas. Mix well, keeping 1 cup of chocolate chips aside for later.
- Prepare two loaf pans by lining them with parchment paper, then divide the batter evenly between the two pans.
- Sprinkle the reserved chocolate chips over the tops of both loaves.
- Bake for about 45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out mostly clean with a few moist crumbs attached.
- Let cool in the pans for 5-10 minutes before lifting the loaves out using the parchment paper. Transfer to a cooling rack to cool completely before slicing.
