- 1 teaspoon baking soda

- 1 cup cold unsalted butter, cubed

- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs, room temperature
- 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups dried cranberries or craisins
- 3/4 cup white chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 365ºF and prepare baking sheets.
- Combine dry ingredients in a bowl.
- Cream cold butter with sugars, then add eggs and vanilla.
- Mix dry ingredients into the wet mixture, then fold in cranberries and chocolate chips.
- Chill dough for an hour if desired.
- Scoop dough onto baking sheets and bake for 9-11 minutes.
- Let cool on baking sheets before moving to a wire rack for complete cooling.
