- 2 pounds bone-in skin-on chicken thighs (approximately 4-6 thighs)
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon pepper
- ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
- ½ cup chicken broth
Instructions
- In a small bowl, combine garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Rub the spice mixture thoroughly over the chicken thighs.
- Pour chicken broth into the crockpot.
- Arrange the seasoned chicken thighs in the crockpot, ideally in a single layer.
- Cook on low for 4½–5½ hours or on high for 2–3 hours, until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
- Transfer the chicken to a baking sheet, skin side up, and broil for 5–7 minutes to crisp the skin.
- Allow to rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
For added flavor, marinate the chicken in the seasoning overnight.
