Description

Enjoy the ease of making Instant Pot Hard Boiled Eggs, featuring 14 large eggs and simple instructions. Perfect for quick snacks, healthy meals, or delicious deviled eggs.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 14 large eggs, white works best
  • 1.5 cup water

Instructions

  1. Pour water into the Instant Pot or pressure cooker.
  2. Place the bottom tier of your egg steamer rack into the pot and fill the slots with 1 egg each until full or stack on trivet or vegetable steamer.
  3. Put the second tier on top until it is securely set on the sides.
  4. Fill that tier with eggs, then close the lid and steam valve.
  5. Set Instant Pot to pressure, high, for 5 minutes.
  6. Do a natural release for 5 minutes, then release the rest of the steam. Open the lid and carefully lift the top tier out, then the bottom tier, and put the eggs in a bowl with cold water and ice cubes. They will cool down in just a few minutes.
  7. Peel the eggs and follow instructions to make great deviled eggs.

Notes

Adjust water for altitude if necessary.
Use ice-cold water for the best peeling results.
Store peeled eggs in the refrigerator for up to one week.
