- 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 6 tablespoons salted butter, melted
- 28 ounces sweetened condensed milk
- ½ cup sour cream
- 4 large egg yolks
- ¾ cup key lime juice
- ¼ teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 2 teaspoons lime zest (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (177°C).
- Line a 9-inch square baking dish with parchment paper and lightly grease it.
- In a bowl, mix together graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and cinnamon.
- Stir in the melted butter until the mixture is well combined.
- Press the crumb mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking dish to form the crust.
- In another bowl, whisk together sweetened condensed milk, sour cream, egg yolks, key lime juice, vanilla extract, and lime zest until smooth.
- Pour the filling over the crust in the baking dish.
- Bake for about 45 minutes or until the filling is set.
- Remove from the oven and cool completely before slicing into bars.
Notes
For best results, chill the bars in the refrigerator for a few hours before serving.
Feel free to adjust lime zest according to your taste preference.
