Description

Lemon Pepper Pork Chops offer a delightful blend of juicy meat, bright citrus, and garlic notes, making them perfect for quick dinners and special occasions alike.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 pork chops, boneless or bone-in
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • Juice of 2 lemons

Instructions

  • Marinate the chops in a Ziploc bag with olive oil, lemon juice, zest, oregano, salt, pepper, and garlic powder for 10-15 minutes.
  • Heat butter in a skillet over medium-high heat and add marinated pork chops.
  • Cook for 3-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and internal temperature reaches 145°F.
  • Let the chops rest for 5 minutes before serving, drizzling with any pan juices.

Notes

Pork chops should be at room temperature before cooking for even results.
For deeper flavor, marinate the chops longer, up to overnight.
Avoid overcrowding the skillet to ensure proper searing.
