Description

Enjoy the irresistible flavor of Old Bay Shrimp! This simple dish features juicy shrimp seasoned with Old Bay and just a splash of lemon, making it a perfect quick dinner for any night.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound medium shrimp, deveined (tail on or peeled)
  • 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon old bay seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • lemon wedges, for garnish
  • 1 tablespoon finely minced parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, toss the shrimp with kosher salt and Old Bay seasoning.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the seasoned shrimp to the skillet and cook for 1 to 2 minutes on each side, until they are opaque and fully cooked, using tongs to turn them.
  4. Spritz with lemon juice and serve immediately, adding more juice to taste as desired.

Notes

For added flavor, let the shrimp marinate in the Old Bay and salt for 30 minutes before cooking.
Serve with a side salad or crusty bread to soak up the juices.
Feel free to adjust the Old Bay seasoning amount to suit your taste.
