- 4 cups frozen sweet peas thawed, well drained, patted dry
- 1/3 cup salad dressing
- 1 tablespoon sour cream
- seasoning salt or salt and black pepper amount as desired
- 2 chopped hard boiled eggs
- 1/2 cup finely diced red onion
- 1 cup diced sharp cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup cooked and crumbled bacon or cubed ham
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine salad dressing, sour cream, and seasoning salt or salt and pepper, whisking until smooth.
- Gently stir in the thawed peas to coat them.
- Fold in chopped boiled eggs, red onion, cheddar cheese, and bacon. Taste and adjust the seasoning if necessary.
- Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
Notes
For a creamier texture, add more sour cream.
