Description

These Sausage Egg and Cheese Breakfast Crescent Rolls combine fluffy eggs, savory sausage, and melty cheese wrapped in flaky crescent rolls. Perfect for busy mornings or a comforting meal at any time.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 large eggs
  • salt & pepper to taste
  • 1 8 oz tube crescent rolls
  • 8 breakfast sausage links fully cooked
  • 4 slices deluxe american cheese cut in half

Instructions

  • Crack the eggs into a bowl, discarding the shells. Reserve approximately 1 1/2 tbsp of the egg whites and whisk the eggs until evenly mixed.
  • Season the egg mixture with salt and pepper, scramble, and set aside.
  • Open the can of crescent rolls and carefully spread the dough onto a clean surface. Separate it into 8 individual triangles at the perforations.
  • Place a piece of cheese on each dough triangle, followed by a scoop of scrambled eggs and one sausage link.
  • Roll up the crescent rolls according to the package instructions and place them on a greased baking sheet.
  • Brush the reserved egg whites over the tops and sides of the filled crescent rolls using a brush.
  • Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for 15-16 minutes, or until the rolls are puffed and golden brown.
  • Remove from the oven and let the rolls cool for 1-2 minutes before serving.

Notes

You can substitute the sausage with bacon or ham for a different flavor.
Feel free to add vegetables like bell peppers or onions to the egg mixture for added nutrition.
These rolls are best served warm but can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
