Description

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs carrots
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh herbs


Instructions

  • Peel and slice carrots into 1/2 inch thick slices.
  • Steam the carrots in a pot with water for 5 minutes until slightly tender.
  • Drain the water and let the carrots cool slightly.
  • Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat until bubbly.
  • Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Toss in the steamed carrots, coating them in garlic butter.
  • Season with salt and pepper, and sauté for 5-7 minutes until slightly browned.
  • Stir in fresh herbs before serving.

Notes
