- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1/4 cup butter

Instructions
- Peel and slice carrots into 1/2 inch thick slices.
- Steam the carrots in a pot with water for 5 minutes until slightly tender.
- Drain the water and let the carrots cool slightly.
- Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat until bubbly.
- Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Toss in the steamed carrots, coating them in garlic butter.
- Season with salt and pepper, and sauté for 5-7 minutes until slightly browned.
- Stir in fresh herbs before serving.
