Description

These Sliders are packed with irresistible flavor and made with simple ingredients like juicy ground beef and melty cheddar. Perfect for a quick dinner or snack, this easy recipe will delight your taste buds and impress your guests!

Ingredients

Scale
  • nonstick cooking spray
  • 12 Hawaiian sweet rolls
  • ½ tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • ½ onion (minced, about ½ cup, 120g)
  • 1 tsp worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper (freshly cracked)
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp paprika
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise (40g)
  • 10 cheddar cheese slices (divided)
  • 2 tbsp butter (melted)
  • ½ tbsp everything bagel seasoning

Instructions

  1. Gather and prepare all ingredients. Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a 9×11” baking dish with cooking spray.
  2. Slice the rolls in half lengthwise and place the bottom half in the baking dish.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a medium skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef, minced onions, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Cook the beef for 10 minutes, breaking it up as you cook it.
  4. Once the beef is cooked through, use a slotted spoon to scoop the beef mixture into a medium bowl, leaving the grease in the skillet.
  5. Fold in mayonnaise to the beef mixture to combine.
  6. Place 5 slices of cheddar cheese on the bottom layer of the Hawaiian rolls, breaking one slice if needed to cover the rolls.
  7. Layer the beef mixture evenly on top of the cheddar slices.
  8. Top the beef with the remaining cheddar cheese slices, breaking the last slice again if necessary.
  9. In a small bowl, combine melted butter and everything bagel seasoning.
  10. Place the top half of the Hawaiian rolls on the beef and cheese. Brush the melted butter mixture evenly over the top rolls.
  11. Bake in the oven for 12-15 minutes, until golden brown and melty.

Notes

For extra flavor, feel free to add your favorite seasonings to the beef mixture.
You can customize the toppings with pickles or your choice of sauces for added taste.
Ensure the beef is well cooked and the cheese is fully melted for the best sliders.
