Description

Experience the irresistible flavor of Slow Cooker Mississippi Pork Roast! This dish features tender pork shoulder seasoned with ranch and pepperoncini for an easy, comforting meal.


Ingredients

  • Pork Shoulder (3–4 lb)
  • Ranch Seasoning Mix (1 oz packet)
  • Au Jus Gravy Mix (1 oz packet)
  • Unsalted Butter (½ cup)
  • Pepperoncini Peppers (6-8, plus 2 tbsp juice)
  • Water or Broth (½ cup)


Instructions

  • Place the pork shoulder in the slow cooker and trim excess fat.
  • Sprinkle ranch seasoning and au jus gravy mix on top of the pork.
  • Cut butter into chunks and scatter over the pork.
  • Top with pepperoncini and add two tablespoons of pepperoncini juice.
  • Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for about 8 hours or high for 4–5 hours.
  • Once cooked, shred the pork using two forks and serve.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 4 days in the refrigerator.
Freezes well for up to 3 months in a freezer-safe container.
Reheat in the microwave or stovetop with a splash of broth to maintain moisture.
