Ingredients
- Pork Shoulder (3–4 lb)
- Ranch Seasoning Mix (1 oz packet)
- Au Jus Gravy Mix (1 oz packet)
- Unsalted Butter (½ cup)
- Pepperoncini Peppers (6-8, plus 2 tbsp juice)
- Water or Broth (½ cup)
Instructions
- Place the pork shoulder in the slow cooker and trim excess fat.
- Sprinkle ranch seasoning and au jus gravy mix on top of the pork.
- Cut butter into chunks and scatter over the pork.
- Top with pepperoncini and add two tablespoons of pepperoncini juice.
- Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for about 8 hours or high for 4–5 hours.
- Once cooked, shred the pork using two forks and serve.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 4 days in the refrigerator.
Freezes well for up to 3 months in a freezer-safe container.
Reheat in the microwave or stovetop with a splash of broth to maintain moisture.
