Description

This slow cooker pork roast is easy to prepare, delivering an incredible flavor that will impress at any meal. Juicy, tender, and perfect for family gatherings.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 3-4 pound pork roast
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tsp rosemary
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper


Instructions

  • Score the fat side of the pork roast lightly.
  • Mix rosemary, thyme, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  • Brush olive oil on the pork roast and rub the seasoning mixture all over.
  • Place the roast in the slow cooker, pouring the chicken broth around it.
  • Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours until the internal temperature reaches 160°F.
  • Let the pork rest for 10 minutes before slicing.

Notes

For best flavor, use a pork shoulder or butt roast with some marbling.
You can substitute olive oil with avocado oil if preferred.
Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 4 days.
