Instructions

- Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until combined.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture until just combined.
- Scoop the dough into balls, roll in sugar, and place on baking sheets.
- Bake for 11-13 minutes until edges are golden and tops are crackled.
- Cool for 5 minutes on the sheet before transferring to a cooling rack.
