- 1 heaping cup semi sweet chocolate chips + extra for garnish
- 1/2 cup diced fresh strawberries + extra for garnish
Instructions
- Cream together the butter and sugars in a stand mixer.
- Mix in the eggs and vanilla until evenly combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the salt, baking soda, and flour.
- With the mixer on low speed, gradually add the flour mixture until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips and diced strawberries using a spatula.
- Prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper or a baking mat, and scoop out rounded tablespoons of dough onto the sheet.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for about 10 minutes, or until cookies begin to brown.
- After baking, let cool for 5 minutes, then press additional chocolate chips and strawberries into the tops. Transfer cookies to a wire rack for complete cooling.
