- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 packet taco seasoning about 2 tablespoons
- ½ cup salsa
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded iceberg lettuce
- 1 cup diced tomatoes seeds removed
- ¼ cup sliced black olives
- 2 tbsp sliced green onions
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, blend the softened cream cheese and sour cream using an electric mixer until smooth.
- Stir in the taco seasoning until well mixed.
- Spread the mixture evenly in a shallow serving dish or pie plate.
- Layer the salsa over the cream cheese mixture.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheese evenly on top.
- Garnish with lettuce, tomatoes, black olives, and green onions.
- Cover and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, consider adding diced jalapeños or corn to the topping.
