Description

This Tzatziki Sauce combines creamy Greek yogurt with refreshing cucumber and zesty lemon, creating a burst of flavor. It’s quick to make and perfect as a dip or dressing.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup plain greek yogurt
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill
  • 1/4 cup fresh cucumber, seeded and finely chopped
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the yogurt, minced garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, and dill.
  2. Stir in the finely chopped cucumber.
  3. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Notes

For a thicker sauce, strain the yogurt before mixing.
Using fresh dill enhances the flavor—substitute with dried if necessary.
Chill the sauce for at least 30 minutes for the best flavor.
